Settons lake

In the Morvan

Surrounded by a forest of fir trees and larch trees, at an altitude of 600 m, Lac des Settons is one of the great lakes of Morvan. With a surface area of 360 ha retained by a stone dike, unique in France, an environment rich in forests and rivers, typical villages. Trails and roads run along the lake, which has been developed for pleasure boating, sailing and other water sports. Fishing is also practiced there. The beauty of the site and the many activities make this lake a very popular place to stay in summer. Guided tours of the dam are also available in the summer.
